One of the things I like about biking to work at this time of year is that I'm often on the road before the sun rises.  By the time it gets brighter out, I'm already on the lakeshore path, which creates some very beautiful mornings.

I have been sick all week.  Today was the worst, chills and a fever.  I actually stayed home from work, which is rare for me.  The timing was good though, my new mattress arrived from Overstock this afternoon.  Its an 11-inch memory foam mattress and I heart it already. I've really fallen out of the habit of taking photos.  Since I had left my tripod under my desk at work for the last few weeks, I decided this evening I should take a few pictures before going home. All I had with me was my wide angle lens, so I had a lot of fun taking shots involving exaggerated perspectives.

The end of September marks my 20-year Anniversary in Chicago.
